I became interested in settling as a knee specialist in London when I was working as a consultant in the Nuffield Hospital of Birmingham and Lancaster. Together with my team of staff, I performed many knee replacements in these hospitals without any major complications.

I see my patients in London for assessment and follow-up, but for surgery they are brought to Ghent. This way we can combine convenience for the patient in London, together with the professionalism at lower costs in Belgium.

We make sure that all reservations are made on time and that everything is correctly filled in. We make the detailed arrangements to ensure that your journey is as comfortable as possible, starting from the airport in London, your stay at the hospital and your return to the UK. As members of the organising staff, you will meet us during your stay.

How do we work?

• PRE-ASSESSMENT
  You meet dr. Gerald Veeckman in his office in London for consultation. Please call the following number to set a date and time - 0207 323 2830.

  

• Once we agree upon surgery, we will make all necessary arrangements and reservations.
• FOLLOW-UP
  Upon your return home, you will receive a date and time for your next appointment in London, together with a letter for your GP.

SYLVIE WATTENBERGHE

As a nurse, you will see me daily during your stay and medical treatment in Belgium. I also assist the surgeon during the operation.
I will also visit you during our hospital admission, in order to assist you with any problems which may arise and to answer any questions which you may have. Additionally, I will be present at consultations, together with the surgeon and secretary.
